Lawgent is looking for a structured and ambitious Junior Finance Assistant who wants to build a career within finance in a modern company operating at the intersection of law, AI, and business.

About the role

As a Junior Finance Assistant, you will support the day to day financial operations of the company while learning every aspect of financial administration. You will work with internal teams as well as external accountants and help ensure that our financial processes are accurate, efficient, and scalable.

Your responsibilities

• Register supplier invoices and customer payments.

• Prepare invoices and follow up outstanding receivables.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Support monthly and yearly financial closing activities.

• Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Assist with payroll administration and expense reporting.

• Coordinate with external accounting firms and auditors.

• Help improve internal financial processes through AI and automation.

• Perform various administrative and financial support tasks.

We are looking for someone who

• Has an education in accounting, finance or economics, or is currently studying.

• Has strong attention to detail.

• Enjoys working in a structured and organized way.

• Is eager to learn and develop professionally.

• Has good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.

• Speaks and writes Swedish and English.

• Has a positive attitude and enjoys taking responsibility.

Previous experience is an advantage but not required.
